Meet Dr. Melika Farshad
Education & Experience
Dr. Melika Farshad received her dental degree from the New York University College of Dentistry, where she graduated with honors and completed an additional year of Advanced Fellowship training in Comprehensive and Aesthetic Dentistry. She has been actively involved in research and dental education throughout her career, presenting her work nationally and internationally.
Prior to specializing in orthodontics, Dr. Farshad practiced for four years as a general and cosmetic dentist and served as a faculty member at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. She then pursued her orthodontic training at one of the most demanding Orthodontics Residency Programs in the nation at the University of Iowa, where she earned both a Certificate in Orthodontics and a Master of Science degree. Her original research focused on the effects of fixed orthodontic treatment on systemic health biomarkers.
Her Approach to Care
Dr. Farshad is excited to begin her orthodontic career in Cleveland and looks forward to serving the community for years to come. Drawing on her background in both aesthetic dentistry and orthodontics, she takes a comprehensive and personalized approach to patient care. She enjoys building meaningful relationships with her patients and helping them achieve smiles that are not only beautiful and functional but also support lifelong oral health and confidence.
Outside of the Office
When she's not in the office, you'll likely find her baking pastries (the more whipped cream and chocolate, the better!), spending time with family and friends, or cheering on women's basketball as a proud Hawkeye and Caitlin Clark fan!
